How do you lose a game with 400 total offensive yard

Well Vanderbilt did it in there 17-10 loss of SEC West cellar dweller Ole Miss, well former cellar dweller now. Vandy had 400 yards total offense to Ole Miss' 179. Vandy had 271 yards passing to their 71 yards.

How do you have that many yards and not score at least 2 touchdowns and maybe even a couple of fieldgoals. It comes down to turnovers. Vandy had 4 lost Fumbles and 1 Interceptions. Turnovers will kill you and Vanderbilt learned that this weekend.

Next week they face #16 Georgia "between the hedges". Looks like the Lincoln Financial Game that week.

Vanderbilt's schedule looks grim for the rest of the season. With Georgia (a loss), South Carolina (probable loss) Duke (who knows they are giving top teams some hard times), Florida (loss), Kentucky (need to win but probably won't) and Tennessee (going to be a blow out for UT, Revenge). Ole Miss was a must win.

And how about Arkansas upset over Former #2 Auburn at Auburn. AP poll had Florida #2 now but that's arguable. Arkansas is now #17 which should look favorable to Vanderbilt since they we gave Arkansas a hard time when they played them.
