March Maddenes and St. Patricks Day

So I survived the Ides of March and today is St. Patricks day. The patron saint of drinking and running snakes off the island of Ireland. Well not really, but im gonna party anyway. Boscos' is tapping a Irish Stout, Big River is tapping a Irish Red, so I will probably end up at those places. But we shall see.

Also the driving of the snakes of ireland is a legend. He aparently single handily converted the Irish peoples to christianity. The "snakes" being the devil or the Druids. (see wikipedia's entry here. There is a picture of a statue there.

So March maddness starts today, wooo hoo. Go Tar Heals. See my pics below:

Well today I am 30. Big day. How do I feel? Freaking great!!! I'm alive.... It was snowing today here and the people I work with got me a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. MMmmm

it weird everyone I work with is all depressed to be 30. But not me .. I see it as the next big step in my life. Now I may not be exactly where I want to be.. But I an working on it. I going to o take my GRE some time this early summer. I think if I get in to grad school I'll feel a little bit better. But other than that I'm fine. I have my health (except for this numb ass hand) , good friends and I'm still aware of my surroundings. Can't ask for much more than that.

Anyway I guess the people here at work are scared of getting old. But why? Nothing you can do to stop it. It's part of this experience called life. Why not make the best of it? Who care what you look like ... As long as you are enjoying your self. I really hate how people are so caught up in appearance and what other people think ..Fuck what other people think. If you too busy trying to look good or appeal to others... Then you going to miss out on something. Live you life and be happy.

Now when I woke up this morning it was snowing but not sticking. Listening to the radio on the way to the bus stop they mentions most all the schools where closed. I was wondering why since the snow wasn't sticking. Well see below. North and east of Nashville they got snow. About 1 1/2 inches. Weird
