Friday the 13th and a full moon

So today is Friday the 13th, know as a bad luck day. When I used to work as an EMT, we hated these days cause people tend to do some crazy shit. We also noticed that on Full moon days that would happen also.

So with today being Friday the 13th and also a full moon day, here is my question: Do people act strange and crazy because it Friday the 13th and a full moon or because they know its Friday the 13th and a full moon?

My thought. It's the latter. People use it as an excuse. Sort of like how you can apply your astrological reading to you days happenings since you know what you reading is in advance.

New Years Shout Outs.

I started my blog last February and ever since then I have had a steady flow of visitors. I probably would not have the traffic that I have today if it was not for a couple of other blogs. Most of my hits and page loads seem to come for Nashville is Talking and Tennessee Guerilla Women.

So thanks Brittney and the News Channel 2 guys over at Nashville is Talking and Egalia over at TGW for adding my Site to there blogrolls. I would not be where I am today with out you help.

So where have I been?

Well last night I finally figured out how to adjust the template for my new website look. So next it to finish the final touches and then do the major migration of my blog from Blogger to Movable Type. I have studied this for a while and it seem easy but you know how that can be. I am pretty nervous that I any lose some or all of my prior posts. We will see I guess. I plan to migrate this weekend.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this smoother?.

I also am in the works of putting together a podcast with a friend of mine. Not sure how or what it will consist of but things seem optimistic. We plan on "airing" one sometime this month.

First Post of the New Year

Well, I have sucked at posting the last few weeks. Anyway Happy new Year to all. Man, its 2006 and we still don't have flying cars or personal jet packs. The future sucks.

Anyway, what are my plans for this new year? Well I will get my new look and migration to Movable Type done before February 1. I plan to start Podcasting as soon as I get a place to put the MP3 files. And lastly, I plan to post more than I have lately. Like 3 to 4 times a week.

Well that, I guess, is my blogging resolutions. I hope everyone has recovered from their new years parties.
